Hashwin and his wife Priyanka both have participated with Mr. Firoz Shroff in various Social entrepreneurial projects both in time and financial resources. He is the recipient of various awards such as City of Toronto International Student Excellence for professional achievementfrom the late mayor of Toronto, Mr. Rob Ford and is a two-time recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II graduate award for science and technology at the University of Toronto.
